As a Southern pioneer for Krump, I can say a handful of us went through so much adversity to open doors for our region to not only be recognized and welcomed but also respected as Krump. We truly had to earn our seat at the table as a coast.

Esteban Pinzon Restrepo

I am Esteban Pinzon Restrepo aka Imposense from Colombia. I got to know Krump from the reality show Americas Best Dance Crew in the season where Street kingdom participated. 2 years later I began to practice the style, first it was in a very empirical way imitating what I saw in videos and movies, over time I was learning more about the basics and getting to know about the culture of my country and the whole world.

So everybody in my family, for my brothers, my sisters, my parents, they were all dancers as well. So I feel like there are always factors that are leading me over towards Krump from watching a lot of the movies.
