As a Southern pioneer for Krump, I can say a handful of us went through so much adversity to open doors for our region to not only be recognized and welcomed but also respected as Krump. We truly had to earn our seat at the table as a coast.
It took a while for us to let our guard down because we are a proud people. But now, in 2020, everyone knows where to get the best food and some of the rawest and groovy talent that Krump has to offer.
We also have our own sound. I’ve been making Krump music for as long as I have been dancing. If you love Krump music and Southern culture music then be sure to listen to their firstborn son, “Joakerface. ANTiX”, which you can find on Youtube.
