My name is Joy, Krump name is Lordbreak from Taiwan
When I’m dancing as a Krumper, I feel l want to be a protector. Because of my mom’s Incurable illness, I want to protect my mom and my family, But she still past away this year, unfortunately.
My Krump name Lordbreak is from Dragon Ball Super’s Beerus, because of his personality.
When the first time I saw Krump in 2006. I had no idea where it came from. But I was deeply attracted by the content of Rize when I saw Krump 1.0 & 2.0. Since then, I felt I had responsibility for its development.
But because of the environment during the time, I was more concentrated on hip-hop culture and it’s history. Meanwhile, I kept practicing the movements of Krump by seeing movies. And because Of the language inability, I didn’t get the important messages from the movies at that time.
Until 2015 after I met Krumper from Philippine, my big homie, and boi1k(Taiwan). I realized I didn’t practice the right way and wasted so much time before. I started to learn from the beginning and felt closer and closer to the Krump. After practicing for years and attending several International Krump events and competitions, I get to know Krump better and love the culture passionately. I also found the real inner of myself through Krump.
